Changing the score

“We believe in taking up whatever is thrown at us. Every new task brings with it a unique challenge,” says Sulaiman Merchant of the musical duo Salim-Sulaiman. In the city to perform at Crescendo,the annual festival of International School of Business and Media (ISB&M),Nande,on Saturday,this was their first-ever Pune show. “Pune has changed a lot over the years and has developed tremendously. The crowd in Pune is really enthusiastic and we have been looking forward to performing here,” says Salim. The duo has had a successful stint abroad and has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Best Music for their work on Wonder Pets!,a show in the US. They have also composed and performed a song at the FIFA World Cup 2010 finals.
