Chakan airport: Lande promises solution

Refusing to get into verbal war with Adhalrao,Lande said his work as Haveli MLA shows what he is capable of doing for his constituency. “Whether it was the issue of farmers,traffic problem of Bhosari,houses for the poor,building news roads,resolving the long-pending Red Zone issues,I have consistently played a positive role. If I am elected as MP,I will replicate my good work in Shrirur constituency ,” Lande said. He conceded that Bhosari traffic problem remained unresolved during his tenure as MLA because of hurdles puts up a few politicians. “But now the Bhosari flyover will help ease the daily chaos in Bhosari,” he said.

Lande said his priority as MP,if elected,will be to push for four-laning of the entire Pune-Nashik highway and Nagar-Kalyan highway. “Besides roads,historical place like Shivneri and pilgrim towns like Bhimashankar,Tulapur,Vadu Budruk,Malganga Devi,Theur,Ranjangaon,Ozar and Leniyadri will be have separate development plans,” he said.

On Adhalrao’s claim that he will win without much problem,Lande said he will react on after the polling is over. “No,I don’t want to get into personal attacks,” he said.

On whether he has specific plan for industrial sector which has been badly hit due to recession,Lande said as an industrialist he himself has set an example. “My industrial units in Chakan and others are doing well. I have not cut any jobs nor reduced salaries for any employee,” he said. Claiming that he had support from all sections of the society,Lande said in all six talukas he was hoping to do well. “We have a definite plan for the constituency and we are going it,” he added.
