Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce,Pune,organised a lecture titled,Preparing for competitive exams. Prof C R Das from Pune University and Abhijit Raut,who scored 113th rank in the UPSC exams spoke to the students. Self study,penning down thoughts clearly,choosing the subjects carefully,regular studies and general reading,were some of the topics they stressed at the seminar.

Recognising Leadership

Vishwesh Kulkarni,president of Yashaswi Group,was awarded the prestigious Indian Leadership Award for Excellence in Education by Bhishma Narayan Singh,former governor and cabinet minister,in a ceremony organised by All India Achieves Foundation at India Habitat Centre in Delhi. The event was also graced by Major Ved Prakash,secretary general of All India Congress Committee,C V C Krishnamurthy,former CEC,Joginder Singh,former CBI director and O P Verma,former Chief Justice and governor.

Minister visits Azam Campus

Union minority affairs minister K Rehman Khan visited Azam Campus in Pune on Monday. He was welcomed by P A Inamdar,president of Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society. Khan visited various computer-related sections of Azam Campus and appreciated the efforts. He said minorities should scrap old mindsets and opt for positive efforts to progress. Abeda Inamdar,VP,Azam campus and other dignitaries were also present at the function.
