Campus chitchat: Played to Perfection

The elimination rounds of the Purushottam Karandak Inter-College Drama festival will begin from August 16 at the Bharat Natya Mandir.

The elimination rounds of the Purushottam Karandak Inter-College Drama festival will begin from August 16 at the Bharat Natya Mandir. Hemant Vaidya,one of the organisers of the festival says,“This year we have a total participation of 51 colleges from Pune and the areas nearby. Colleges from places like Ahmednagar,Wagholi,Pimpri Chinchwad,Alandi and Baramati will be participating. The prelimnary round will be judged by Deepak Rege,Archana Rane and Shailesh Deshmmukh. The final round will be held on September 8 and 9. Amongst others colleges last years winners MIT College of Engineering,Bhartiya Mitramandal College of Commerce and Marathwada Mitramandal College of Commerce will be performing the plays Chana Khau Lokhandach,Kapaadi – The Uncut and Network this time.
