Sandvik Coromant launches outreach programme
Sandvik Coromant,a division of Sandvik Asia,a Swedish giant,has started an outreach programme to help its customers overcome any problem in metal cutting. It is sending experts to different industrial locations all over India,thereby improving productivity. The yellow truck is a first-of- its kind initiative where Coromant engineers in yellow coats visit people working in metal cutting,at their doorstep,to solve their problems,said a press release.
McCormick,Kohinoor in JV
McCormick Inc and Kohinoor Foods have set up a joint venture company called Kohinoor Speciality Foods India Private Ltd.
The company will launch new products in food service sector. McCormick expects the joint venture sales to be approximately $85 million in the first year, said Kohinoor Specialty Foods India managing director Satish Rao.
Saffronart-Mercedes tie-up
Saffronart,an art auction house,and Mercedes Benz India have partnered for the promotion of art in India. The partnership has been inspired by vibrant art,design and jewellery traditions of the country.
