Burning bright

Eight short plays,each outlining a different relationship. On Sunday,Jitendra R Pawar and Niche Stagekraft presented the play Candles In The Wind at Nehru Memorial Hall. Directed by Harsh Jalan and Makarand Mujumdar,the play provided a glimpse into the relationship between two people,be it friends,husband-wife,estranged lovers,strangers or parents and children. Their journey together – the humour,passion and other means of expression – was the subject of this theatrical performance. Like candles in the wind,each relationship has to withstand it all – the moments of joy and suffering,laughter and tears. And this is what the play depicted.
