Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) officially launched its 3G services on Thursday at Chakan here. The service was launched by MP Shivaji Adhalrao Patel by making a video call to MLA Dilipsheth Mohite Patil in the presence of BSNL officials. Customers can avail themselves of services such as video calls,high speed Internet with download speed up to 2.6 Mbps and so on,the officials said. Music,mobile TV video,ring tones are also on offer. High-speed,mobile Internet access for PCs and laptops too is possible through the USB data card subscription,which comes with free,all-India roaming, said an official. Tariff plans ranging from Rs 249-Rs 2,499 have been launched for both prepaid and postpaid customers.
