Baryton Ensemble

The Haydn Baryton Trio of Budapest,founded by Balázs Kakuk in 1980,will perform at Mazda Hall,Camp,on March 23,from 7 pm onwards. The band was formed to revive over 200 compositions by Joseph Haydn for the baryton,which was the favourite instrument of Prince Esterházy Miklós. The Ensemble plays all Baryton trios by Haydn as well as quintets,octets and the baryton divertimenti from other composers of the Esterházy circle. The trio has done film music recordings,TV productions and concert tours worldwide.
