Three,including a senior citizen died in three separate accidents on Tuesday. In the first,a 55-year-old employee of Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital,Kanchan Vilas Lingade was run over by a PMPML bus in Pimpri. Investigating officer PSI S V Rakh said,Lingade was on her way home. Near Deep Hotel,she was run over by a PMPML bus. Police arrested the driver Devidas Digambar Andhale (30). In the second accident,a 70-year-old pedestrian Raghunath Jayram Randive,of Aadinath Colony in Rahatni was run over by an autorickshaw at Rahatni. Sangvi police are yet to identify the vehicle or the driver. In the third accident,a 35-year-old man died after he was hit by a private bus on Bhosalenagar road. Chatushrungi police identified him as Harendra Joseph Merian of Bhavaninagar in Pimple Gurav. Police said Harenda and his wife were walking when a bus (MH 04 G 2718) hit him from behind,police said.
