Williams to visit city women’s hostel

K A Vishwanathan,who is one of the persons organising the visit,said,“Williams,who takes an interest in issues of women and children,will visit a working women’s hostel on April 3 in Chembur. The hostel is managed by the Indian Council of Social Welfare (ICSW). The next day,she will visit the Nehru Centre in Worli.”

Williams (47) holds the record for the longest space flight by a woman astronaut. She has spent about 320 days in space. She also holds the record for the most number of spacewalks by a woman space traveller (seven).
