Deepika Padukone has been busy finishing shoots for two films,Houseful and Karthik Calling Karthik. But the actress wants to make sure that she doesn’t miss out socialising or keeping in touch with her friends and family so she just bought herself a new laptop and carries it with her everywhere she goes. “I’ve got this personalised Yahoo page for myself so that I can now check mail,chat and send photos all the time,” says the actress. While most actors have now started to use Facebook and Twitter to keep in touch with fans personally,Deepika has not yet gone that way as yet. “But I do get a lot of e-mails from fans and I do try to reply whenever I can. The Internet is such a personal way to keep in touch with your fans.”

‘A’ for Riteish
Riteish Deshmukh is leaving no stone unturned to promote his film Aladin.

Recently,we heard,he has been sporting T-shirts with an ‘A’ embroidered on them akin to the red sweater that he wears throughout in Aladin. This,we hear,is his way of showing enthusiasm and promoting the film.

Hopefully,the next step for the actor will be donning the Aladdin pants and the bare-chested look for all promotional events. That’s sure to generate good publicity.

Double bonanza
In order to beat the blues after the shooting of Blue got over,the cast and crew of the film decided to hold a grand extravaganza on the beach.

Coincidentally,it also happened to be Zayed Khan’s birthday. The actor,we hear,was happy to spend his special day with Blue’s cast and crew who have become family to him. And,we’re guessing,those bikini babes on the beach didn’t hurt either.

Hair play
Aftab Shivdasani sure has one loving girlfriend. He must have been feeling low after the debacle that was Acid Factory but Aamna Sharif went and got herself a new deadly haircut from celeb hairstylist Asif,which,she claims,is to impress her beau. Makes sense. Something to perk him up.
