Siddhant,Pranay win thrillers

In another exciting match in the same category,Pranay Jain of Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana,Santacruz also survived a scare before beating Zain Motiwala of Otters Club 11-9,13-11.

Motiwala had his chances in the crucial second game to keep his hopes alive but he faltered in the end as the game went into extra points.

Also advancing to the quarter-finals were top seed Aryan Hemdev of CCI,second seed Rajat Agarwal of Khar Gymkhana,No. 3 Yohan Surti of CCI and fourth seed Dev Vazirani of Otters Club.

Boys’ under-13 top seed Aditya Khatri of Hiranandani Club registered a hard-fought pre-quarter-final win to lead the other seeds into the last eight.

Joining Khatri in the quarter-finals were second seed Madhav Dhingra of Otters Club and No. 4 Aditya Singhi of Goregaon Sports Club.
