School Notes

The Maratha High School (Worli) has been awarded the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vanashree Award.

A B Songare (chairman) and Neha Wadijkar (senior teacher) received the award for its forest development work across the state. The award was presented by Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan in a ceremony held in Karad last month.

Vikrant Prakash Choudhary,student of Sri Ma Vidyalaya,Patlipada,Thane,scored 97.09 per cent in the SSC board examinations this year and stood first in the school.

He attributed his success to the guidance and moral support of his teachers.
