Pichad re-elected NCP state chief

The NCP on Saturday re-elected Madhukar Pichad as president of the Maharashtra unit of the party.

MLC Hemant Takle was also re-elected the party treasurer. On its foundation day on June 10,the NCP will launch a campaign to attract young and educated women to the party. NCP chief Sharad Pawar said he would tour several parts of the state to strengthen the party and has asked ministers to visit their respective regions once a month.
