Passengers create ruckus on flights

Two cases of alleged passenger misbehaviour were reported at the Mumbai airport on Thursday.

Two cases of alleged passenger misbehaviour were reported at the Mumbai airport on Thursday. The first was on a Mumbai-bound flight from Bangkok and the second on a Riyadh-bound Air India flight.

The first incident occurred around noon when two passengers on Mumbai-bound IC694 from Bangkok created a ruckus on board. The two, according to airport officials, were drunk. While the names of passengers could not be ascertained, the two were handed over to CISF officials after the aircraft landed in Mumbai.

The two were later interrogated for two hours and released after they tendered an apology.

In the second case,a Saudi national allegedly started misbehaving after passengers were told to disembark from Air India’s Riyadh-bound flight AI821 around 11 pm.

The passenger was handed to security officials and the flight took off one hour and 15 minutes later.
