Water Works
While resurfacing from a dive off Lakshadweep,Oklahoma-based artist Janavi Mahimturas attention was drawn to the distorted image of a fellow diver created by the under-surface of the water. This image stayed with her and led her to create her latest series of works,currently being showcased at Hirji Jehangir Gallery,in an exhibition titled Reflect to Refract.

Screen as Stage
SET in the early 20th century,Nicholas Wrights new play,Travelling Light,revolves around the inhabitants of a remote village in Eastern Europe. This weekend,the NCPA,in collaboration with UKs National Theatre,will screen four shows of the play,which is directed by Nicholas Hytner and stars the Oliver Award-winning actor,Antony Sher.

Sounds Like Bass
There’s nothing like bidding goodbye to the weekend with a good party,and this Sunday night,Bonobo is the place to be. Brother Culture,an MC from the UK and DJ Q-Mastah from Brooklyn,New York,accompanied by one of the countrys favourite drum and bass groups,Bay Beat Collective,promise their audience a night of unforgettable music.
