MNS seeks BSE website in Marathi

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has brought up a new demand to push Marathi-a Marathi website of Bombay Stock Exchange.

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has brought up a new demand to push Marathi — a Marathi website of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The party leaders met the BSE officials on Saturday to place their demand. The MNS leaders said the BSE had launched a website recently in three languages — English,Hindi and Gujarati. They said the website chose to ignore the presence of Marathi investors, though the BSE was located in Mumbai and Maharashtra.

Arvind Gawde,an MNS leader from South Mumbai, said,“The website should also be in Marathi. It seems like they are not interested in Marathi investors. We met them today and handed over our letter demanding the website in Marathi. They have agreed to do so in a fortnight.” The party had, over the past one year, demanded Marathi announcements at railway stations, multiplexes and theatres.
