Missing the fun

These days,everything that Anurag Kashyap touches,turns into gold. And the owners of the new talent portal tumbhi.com came up with an innovative idea to put to use the filmmaker’s Midas touch and also promote their portal at the same time. For the launch,the portal announced a tie-up with Anurag,where he will direct six short films and utilise the talent that comes through the portal. For the launch,held in Andheri,Anurag turned up in his standard geek look. He was sporting a jacket,tee and denims with a beard and geek glasses. Thankfully,his girlfriend Kalki Koechlin,with an infinitely better taste in dressing up,arrived at his arm wearing slim jeans and a bright red kimono style top and saved the event from looking like a drab show.

Bummer Anurag has so many friends among the new crop of Indian filmmakers and actors but none showed up at the event to support him.
