Mostly though,Khan is dead serious when he talks about his new role as host of the controversial show which has galloped triumphantly into a fourth season,brushing off all allegations of scripting,tasteless content and rigging. Is there anything at all that the superstar is worried about as the show goes on air on October 3? “I will just be myself,” he says,“so I’m worried that I’ll be spontaneous and will say something that will be misconstrued by the media.” But he does feel that the show has more to offer than entertainment. “In front of the camera,believe it or not,people’s true nature comes out,” he says,“you can see them for what they are,shorn of all pretences. Of course,sometimes the pressure does make them act or behave badly.” In his opinion,the most well-behaved contestant till date on Bigg Boss was Rahul Roy,the winner of the first season. As for the worst behaved,he says,“I think Pravesh Rana could’ve done so much better,” he says of the third season finalist,“I met him recently and he is such a nice human being.”

When asked who he would like to see in the Bigg Boss house,Khan replies,typically off-the-cuff,“My make-up man Raju,” and points to a gentleman walking by. And why would it be interesting to watch Raju in the house? “It won’t be interesting. It’ll just keep him away from me and stop him from pestering me with touch-ups. I don’t need any makeup,” he declares.
