Major DCP reshuffle

A major reshuffle of Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) in the city was announced on Saturday,after transfers and promotions of Indian Police Service officers were cleared by the state government on June 13. Ravindra Shisve will take over as DCP Zone 1 from Cherring Dorje,with the latter replacing Suhas Warke as DCP Zone 10. Nisar Tamboli who was posted as DCP (Detection) has been to transferred to Zone 2 as DCP,and Ambadas Pote will replace Tamboli. DCP Zone 7 Sanjay Shintre has been posted as DCP Special Branch-I. Anand Mandya has been posted as DCP Operations,Sharda Nikam as DCP HQ-I,and P C Patil as DCP Zone 12. DCPs MM Dahikar,S R Nalawade and Anu Bhitre have been posted in the traffic department of the Mumbai Police. Kiran Shelar takes over as DCP Local Arms-I and N D Chavan as DCP Zone 8.
