Two of the three absconding accused in the Kurar quadruple murder Rahul Pandurangan Mandri and Prakash Manohar Sharma were arrested on Thursday. They were produced in court and remanded in police custody till August 24 . A team
of Crime Branch Unit XII nabbed the duo from Uttar Pradesh,taking the total number of arrests to 16.
Senior officers said Mandri is a banjo player,while Sharma is unemployed. They had an active role in the crime,which took place at Kurar hillock, said an officer. While all other accused,including prime accused Uday Pathak,are in custody,the police are on the lookout for one more accused,Ravi.
