Call it fashion’s well-timed move or Christian Dior’s way of drawing attention to one of its to-die-for accessories. At a party packed with Mumbai’s fashionistas,popular Bollywood faces and those known for their passion for a good life,Dior watches launched its new timepiece collection ‘Dior VIII’ at The Four Seasons,Worli,on Friday night. Hosted by Manishi Sanwal and Swati Gupta of LVMH Watch & Jewellery and Christian Dior Couture’s Kalyani Saha,the evening saw Eesha Koppikar come in early and make an equally quick exit. However,Bollywood actors Kangna Ranaut,and Chitrangada Singh — both dressed in Dior — were in mood for some fun and stuck around till late. Siddhartha Mallya sauntered in quite late sans girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Still,he managed to grab everyone’s attention with his casual chic appearance. Shobhaa De bonded with Gul Panag over a glass of wine. Another person who created a stir with her presence was Sheetal Mafatlal. Clad in a glamorous red-and-black outfit,she was clearly looking at putting all her ongoing domestic troubles behind her. Others in attendance included Rhea Pillai,Tanisha Mukherjee,Abhishek Kapoor,Poorna Jagannath and Natasha Poonawala.
