Fake medical bills: FIR to be registered against Jalgaon MLA
The state government on Wednesday informed the Bombay High Court that a FIR would be registered against Ramesh Chaudhary,Congress MLA from Jalgaon,for submitting bogus medical bills amounting to over Rs 20 lakh. When the court asked as to why action will not be taken against other MLAs,the state said that nothing incriminating was found against them by the High Powered Committee and hence there was no need to proceed against those MLAs. The court then disposed off the Public Interest Litigation filed by NGO Janhit Manch.

Class X student commits suicide
A class X student,Sayli Vinayak Nayak (15),allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday morning at her residence at the Bhaba Atomic Research Centre (BARC) colony in Trombay. According to the police,she was good at studies. The victim’s body was found hanging at her residence in Parijat Building. Her parents had gone to attend the republic day celebrations. The police said they didn’t get any suicide note.
