Five killed as private bus collides with autorickshaw

Five,including two women,died when a private bus coming from Andhra Pradesh and an autorickshaw collided in Omerga tehsil of Osmanabad district on Friday. Of the seven injured in the mishap,the condition of three was stated to be serious.

On Friday morning a group was heading back to Balsore village after attending a Kirtan at Yukandi Jahangir village in Omerga in an overcrowded autorickshaw. Near Jaketpur village on NH-9,a private luxury bus from Andhra Pradesh collided with the autorickshaw. Five persons were killed on the spot. The injured were admitted to Omerga civil hospital.
