Fashion Fever

Counted among India’s leading couturiers,Delhi’s Monisha Jaising and Kolkata-based Sabyasachi Mukherjee are known to design for the country’s creme da le creme. But if the designers’ latest range of t-shirts — created specially for Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) 2013 — is anything to go by,fashion lovers with a budget have a lot to be excited about. At Rs 500,these designer tees are part of a range of offerings that make up the FNO fiesta,slated to take place on September 5 at Lower Parel’s Palladium Mall from 6pm onwards.

This is the fifth Indian edition of the annual event that kickstarts the festive shopping for the season. This is the first time that the FNO is being held in Mumbai. The previous editions have been in Delhi. Apart from the tees designed by Jaising and Mukherjee,the FNO merchandise also features Manish Arora totes for Rs 800 each,as also Play Clan cosmetic pouches for Rs 450 each. There’s also Vogue Desire — the Black Clutch Project,that will throw up a collection of classic black clutches presented as an installation. The pop-up store promises to offer products by 95 designers.
