Occasional spells of rain are expected in the city on Tuesday,said the Met department. After the seasons highest rainfall (185.3 mm) yet in the 24 hours from September 3 to 4,the city has received only light to moderate rain.

Over the weekend,IMDs Santacruz weather station recorded 63.1 mm,while Colaba recorded 34.4 mm. On Monday,Colaba recorded no rain between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm,while Santacruz recorded only 1.2 mm.
