At 7.6 degree Celsius, Delhi records lowest temperature for season

The Met office has forecast clear skies for the day ahead and haze and smoke towards the afternoon. "The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 24 degrees Celsius," the weatherman said.

Shimla experiences heavy snowfall

Shimla, Feb 09 (ANI): The higher reaches of different districts in Himachal Pradesh, including the capital city Shimla, are experiencing heavy snowfall. The state is reeling under intense cold wave due to heavy snowfall in the region since Sunday. Shimla, Kufri and several other towns in the area are wrapped in a thick white blanket of snow while the mid and lower hills experienced moderate to heavy rain. According to reports, the mercury has dipped by several degrees across the state after change in the weather. The Met department has predicted dry weather during next 24 hours.
