Design melange

Trust the flamboyant Bose Krishnamachari to curate a show,Her Work is Never Done,that brings together works from creative women in different fields. The eclectic collection,which will be on display at the artist’s Gallery BMB in Fort,features works by talented ladies like photographer Dia Mehta,architect Nisha Ghosh and fashion designer Shilpa Chavan. The guestlist was as diverse as the works featured and typical of Bose’s soirees had the leading lights from the creative arts. Jewellery designer Devaunshi Mehta came to cheer daughter Dia,while renowned lensman Ashok Salian chatted with models Bhawna Sharma and Carol Gracias. We also spotted Design Temple founder Divya Thakur,designer Aki Narula and artists Krsna Mehta and Brinda Miller.

Showstopper The leggy Bhawna once again pulls a googly on us. We don’t know what she’s wearing and where it begins and ends,but we think it suits her quirky sense of style.
