CR: Rail crack delays morning peak-hour services

THE CENTRAL Railway (CR) services were delayed in the morning peak hour on Monday. According to officials, services were hit after a rail crack was found around 8.30 am near Vitthalwadi station between Kalyan and Karjat sections.

As a result, trains were running almost 20 minutes behind schedule, officials said. The crack was repaired by 9.05 am, sources in the CR said.
