Cops find plot papers with arrested vaastu ‘expert’

Parab is alleged to have duped at least three persons and the police are probing to find out if there are more victims.

A vaastu consultant Mohit Parab (37), who was caught by Matunga Police after he duped a resident of his property, has revealed to investigators that he owns two plot of lands in Wada in Thane district. Parab is alleged to have duped at least three persons and the police are probing to find out if there are more victims. Police also probing if the purchase of two plots was made from the duped money.

Deepak More, the assistant police inspector of Matunga Police station said, “Parab purchased two plots of lands in Wada district in the year 2012. One is reserved for row house bunglows. The other plot is bought with the help of a local agent. We have also intimated the banks to stop any transaction of money from his account. In the course of investigation, we have recovered the papers for both the plots purchased and we are now probing with the land departments concerned,” added More.

Parab, resides with his parents in Nerul. “ He had interest in vaastu and had made attempts to learn it,” added More.
