Class XI: Quota admissions conclude

The final round of admissions for inhouse,minority and management quotas concluded on Thursday.

The final round of admissions for inhouse,minority and management quotas concluded on Thursday. Colleges surrendered unused vacant seats to be included in the online process under open category. Over 27,000 seats have been surrendered by colleges across the city.

As many as 1,82,101 seats are now up for grabs. Education department officials said it could go up after the first round of online admissions. “Colleges need not wait if all their seats are filled by the second merit list,to be published on August 1. They can begin their classes,” N B Chavan,assistant director of education,said.
