Class X student commits suicide

A class 10 student allegedly committed suicide at her Mulund home on Sunday. 16-year-old Manpreet Premsingh Khullar was alone at her home in Namdeo Dhotre Chawl when she committed suicide.

Her father and brother are truck drivers and were out of town. Her mother had gone to a gurdwara. On returning home she found Khullar hanging from the ceiling fan. No suicide note was found. According to Assistant Inspector Milind Jadhav,the mother in her preliminary statement has said that Manpreet may have been tensed about board exams.
