In India’s entertainment capital,the beautiful people hardly need a reason to celebrate. But when an occasion does arrive,they tog out in their best Versaces and Choos and bring the house down. Wednesday saw Tote on the Turf,at Mahalaxmi racecourse,play host to a party thrown by a popular celebrity magazine to celebrate it’s upcoming issue dedicated to beautiful people. The B-Town lot mingled with society queens and television stars and starlets. Sushmita Sen,in a blue Alexander McQueen dress,was the life and soul of the party as she danced with pals Dia Mirza and Kangna Ranaut. The bald and beautiful Diandra looked chic with her large,floral headpiece,while Maria Goretti bored us with her satin maxi. Also present were Jacqueline Fernandez,Ritesh Deshmukh,Aatish Taseer,Queenie Singh,Mini Mathur,Aki Narula and Manish Malhotra,and veteran journalist Vinod Mehta.
Bummer It would’ve been more appropriate for Sonu Nigam,given the way he was dressed,to go to an Eyesore party rather than one for beautiful people. Maybe he thought it was a costume party and came dressed as the Beast.
