Car hits,injures 2 constables

TWO constables attached to Malwani police station were injured after a 20-year-old man allegedly rammed his Maruti Zen into their motorcycle Saturday. Sudhakar Bhole and Sudhir Makhne were on night patrol when they saw a crowd gathered at a junction in Malwani. They stopped to check when the car driven by Dilnawaz Khan hit their bike. Two beat marshals,who were passing by,nabbed Khan. Khan,who works at a medical shop,did not have a driver’s licence and had taken his father’s car without permission,police said.
