Avicii Tour Cancelled

This summer,between March and April,India was to host shows by the top three DJs in the world,Armin van Buuren,Tiesto and Avicii,as ranked by DJ Magazine. However,Avicii shows,scheduled for April 6 in Mumbai and the next day in Delhi,have been called off by organisers Sunburn earlier this week. A statement issued by them says,“Avicii has been facing health issues recently and has been forced to take rest until he is once again healthy to perform and travel.” He did,however,continue with his set to the Ultra Music Festival in Miami earlier this week. In December 2011,Avicii’s gig in Mumbai was hugely popular. Musician Sonu Nigam who wanted to work with the DJ,released his version of Avicii’s single “Levels”,which didn’t do too well. The organisers have said that ticket holders may either opt for full refund or exchange them for Tiesto’s shows in Mumbai,Bangalore or Delhi,on March 29,30 and 31,respectively.
