Nagged for money,man kills ex-wife,/b>Frequent nagging for money by his first wife,whom he divorced recently,angered a man so much that he killed her and dumped her body in some bushes,according to the Dharavi police,which stumbled upon the murder while looking into a missing person complaint. The man,Raees Khan,has confessed to having killed his first wife Sitara Begum (40) and dumping the body at Madh in Malwani on Saturday,according to the police. Sitara had been staying with Khan and his second wife Rajda Begum,but she returned to her parents house in Dharavi after her recent divorce. She had been missing from Saturday morning and a missing person complaint was registered with Dharavi police,who confronted Khan (43). He confessed,police said. Senior Police Inspector Vashist Andhale said,She would file complaints against Khan at local police station and ask for money,which irritated him. Tanker driver gets jail for cops deathA sessions court on Tuesday sentenced the driver of a gas tanker to three-year rigorous imprisonment for running over a traffic policeman in 2009 on Eastern Express Highway. The cop died on the spot. Additional sessions judge,SL Pathan convicted Kamlesh Kumar Yadav under section 304 (II) of the IPC for rash and negligent driving resulting in death,and other relevant sections of the Motor Vehicle Act. On August 25,2009,Umesh Koli and two others were travelling in a police jeep towards Ghatkopar Pant Nagar where the Ganesh idol was being immersed in the night. According to Suryakant Shelar,a witness who was part of the team patrolling the crowd at the immersion spot,the gas tanker changed lanes and didnt stop even though asked to slow down. Since the tanker didnt stop,a police jeep overtook it. The driver of the jeep,Koli alighted and signalled the tanker to stop,said Shelar. Instead,the tanker knocked down Koli who suffered multiple injuries and died on the spot.
