20-year-old found murdered in Kurla

“The girl’s father works as a fitter at the construction site and the family had shifted there around eight months back. Nazim is a housewife and stayed at home with her daughter. However,on Saturday,Nazim went to fetch water around 5.30 pm leaving her daughter behind. When she returned,she found the girl lying on the ground with blood oozing from a wound on her head,” said senior police inspector C Bhosale from the V B Nagar police station.

“While there were no visible injuries on the body except on her head,only the postmortem report will reveal if there were any injuries on her private parts indicating that she might have been raped. We are also investigating if there is any involvment of a jilted lover and are questioning a few suspects,” said police inspector Shashikant Mane.
