With the arrest of two people on Saturday,the Ludhiana police claimed to have solved the murder of Charanjit Singh Bubbi,a rickshaw-puller who was found dead near a bus stand on August 28. The police have aressted Kuldeep Singh and Achar Singh of Ambedkar Nagar for the murder while two other accused, Mani and Dipu,are still at large. According to the police,a minor argument snowballed into hatred and finally resulted in the murder. Police said that Kuldeep and Achar had accused Charanjits nephew of having stolen their mobile sets. They had gone to complain about this to Charanjit but ended up fighting with him. Police say that the duo then planned Charanjits murder before finally killing him.
