Students sore over wrong pattern of exam

Students of M.Sc (Maths) (Ist year) students have alleged that the question paper they were handed over during the examination held yesterday was different in pattern from the one prescribed by the university.

Students of M.Sc (Maths) (Ist year) students have alleged that the question paper they were handed over during the examination held yesterday was different in pattern from the one prescribed by the university. Demanding compensation for the wrong pattern in the examination,students made representations to their respective college authorities and urged them to take up the matter with Panjab University,Chandigarh.

The students said that they were baffled to see the pattern of their examination of Different Equations and Mechanics in altogether different pattern.

As per a university letter,the subject (603) should have had the pattern having the first,second and third sections with four,two and three questions respectively. But the question paper we attempted had two,three and four questions in the first,second and third sections,respectively, rued a student of GHG Khalsa College,Gursar Sudhar. Students have to attempt five questions in all out of the nine questions spread over three sections and they said that the changed pattern had left them in a tizzy as they had prepared for the examination on the prescribed pattern.
