Sacred Heart holds function

The kindergarten wing of Sacred Heart Convent Senior Secondary School,Sarabha Nagar,on Sunday organised its annual function for the second day on Sunday.

The kindergarten wing of Sacred Heart Convent Senior Secondary School,Sarabha Nagar,on Sunday organised its annual function for the second day on Sunday. The cold weather could not dampen the spirits of tiny-tots,who practiced and rehearsed for the annual show.

The function was based on the theme Wonders of the time machine. Clad in colourful dresses,the children presented their talent and skills and conveyed the message of Goodness always triumphs over evil and Let harmony and peace prevail.

They depicted these through different characters of children stories,fables and cartoons. Dr SS Chauhan,DIG,Ludhiana range,was the chief guest on the second day. He appreciated the efforts of students,staff and school.

On Saturday,DR Yadav,the Regional Director,CBSE,was the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering,he said,The parents need to check their role as far as disciplining their children is concerned. Parents do not discipline their two children,while school disciplines 2,000 children. So there is need that parents should cooperate with the school teachers and authorities. Whenever there is any problem with their wards,they shall come and discuss the solution with the school principal and should not run after police.

Sister Chantal,the school principal,congratulated the students for their efforts. The show was an amalgam of dance,drama and music.
