Rakesh raring to set new record

At last,city based stunt man Rakesh Kumar succeeded in finding a sponsor to show his talent worldwide. The Double H nutrition company signed a contract with him and now they will bear all his expenses for his trip to UK.

In a press conference-cum-show organised at Gold gym,Mall Road,Rakesh lifted a weight of 111 kg with his both ears and held it for 4.46 seconds to claim his challenge was right. He said,“Previously this record was held by an Indian Punjabi who lifted 80 kg with both his ears. I want to setup a new record with such a standard which would make people think twice to break this record.” Further adding,he said,“I needed to lift the weight for 4.50 seconds to make it into the Guinness Record. So,I decided to reduce the weight by 1 kg to improve my timing in front of the officials of the record book.”

To motivate the enthusiastic stunt man,Harish Gupta,franchisee of Gold gym gave him 1-year free membership of the gym. Sheru Harmit Angrish and Hemant Angrish,international bodybuilder and owner of company,said,“We want to present a role model and tell other nations that the India also has the talents and ability to do anything. We will help Rakesh in all aspects,like his travelling,boarding and whatever he needs.” Prior to that Rakesh had lifted 71 kg with one ear and 5 kg with his eyes lids. But now he is concentrating on the feat of lifting the weight with both ears.
