Pogo Mad Live Summer 2009 set to kick off

During this summer break a few city schools in collaboration with popular TV channel “Pogo” will paint the world of kids in the exclusive colours of MAD (Music,Art and Dance) by holding workshops “Pogo Mad Live Summer 2009”.

During this summer break a few city schools in collaboration with popular TV channel “Pogo” will paint the world of kids in the exclusive colours of MAD (Music,Art and Dance) by holding workshops “Pogo Mad Live Summer 2009”. These schools are BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School,Shastri Nagar,and Sacred Heart Convent Senior Secondary School,Sarabha Nagar.

Paramjit Kaur,principal of BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School,Shastri Nagar,said,“The children will be able to bring their wild and colourful imagination to life. Students above the age group of 6 1/2 years to 15 years can take part in this workshop in three sessions (separate for juniors and seniors) lasting for two hours each in two batches from 25th May to 8th June and from 9th June to 3rd July,respectively.”

The workshop which is supposed to be a blend of fascinating information and interesting educational elements will motivate the participants to nurture their creative talent. Besides this,participants will also get a life-time opportunity to interact with their favourite star in ‘Art fest carnival’ to be held in first week of July.

“This specially designed programming package will definitely enthrall kids with entertaining and enlightening art and craft tips and take them away from clutches of TV,” said Romesh from Fun Shala,Academy for Creative Education.
