Mumbai, Feb 18 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Gopal Shetty from Maharashtra, who mocked the farmers' suicide issue by calling it a "fashion trend", on Thursday, clarified his stand by saying that rather than giving compensation to farmers, state governments should investigate the matter first. He added that there is a competition going on to give compensation to farmers. He further said he is ready apologise but he wanted his message to go in a positive way.
