More gastro cases reported

Nearly a dozen more cases of gastroenteritis have come to the fore in the Madhopuri area today,however there was no official confirmation from health department in this regard.

As per the information,about eight new patients of gastroenteritis have been admitted to the local Jain Hospital in Sunder Nagar. About six cases have been reported from Madhopuri locality alone and a case each has been reported from adjoining Sunder Nagar,Dharampua,Kailash Nagar and Jodhewal Basti.

Those reported to have been suffering from the disease include Vandana (24),Ram Prakash (19),Nandini (5) and Hari Ram (50),Soni (36) and Kuber (29) from Madhopuri locality and Shiv Kumar (35),Hari Lal (36),Prince (21) and Varun (2) from other adjoining localities. A team of health department also visited the areas and referred three cases to the civil hospital.
