Roll back statement: Shahi Imam to Nawaz Sharif
The statement of former Prime Minister of Pakistan and President of Muslim League,Nawaz Sharif, that Ahmadiyas are our brothers and sisters, hurt the sentiments of Muslims because Ahmadiyas are not Muslims. Sharif should roll back his statement, otherwise we will issue a fatwa that he be cast out of Islam, said Punjabs Shahi Imam Maulana Habib-ur-Rehman Saani Ludhianavi, national president of the Majlis Ahrar Islam Hind,in a press conference held in Jama Masjid. The Shahi Imam said the Islami Shariyat has resolved that Muslims have no relation with Ahmadiyas and saying they were brothers and sisters was not possible. He also said thousands of people sacrificed their life in Khatme Nabuwwat movement and Sharif never paid his homage to those martyrs.
