Four held with stolen goods

The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) II police have busted a gang of thieves by arresting four of its members. The police have recovered stolen industrial raw material and spare parts of cycles worth Rs 1.20 lakh from the them.

Those arrested have been identified as Mohammed Prince,Monu Singh,Dinesh Kumar and Ramesh Kumar,all migrants from the states of UP and Bihar. They were arrested yesterday from near Eastman Chowk following a tip off by a police party led by CIA II in-charge Dilpreet Singh. The recovered goods weighed 26 quintals and their value in the market was stated to be Rs 1.20 lakh,the police said.
