Body found at local college grounds creates panic,police suspect suicide

An unidentified body found in the grounds of Satish Chander Dhawan Government College for Boys on Sunday morning created panic among students.

A preliminary investigation done by the police revealed that the victim most probably committed suicide.

However,no suicide note or any ID proof was recovered from the deceased.

The incident came to light after the students and morning walkers saw the body and informed the police.

Division number 8 SHO Ranjit Singh said as per initial investigations,the body was of a migrant aged between 40 and 45. The police have sent the body for post-mortem at the civil hospital.
