Seminar on wireless networking held
A seminar on Wireless Networking was organised by Quest Infosys,regional centre of Punjab Technical University,Jalandhar for students of PTU Learning Centre (under distance education programme),on Tuesday. Resource person Anand Nayyar gave the lecture. Quest Infosys regional manager Neeraj Sharma said wireless networking has been useful in a variety of domains like defense,healthcare and environment observation.
Pawanjot tops MBA examination
Pawanjot Kaur of Doraha Institute of Management and Technology has bagged the first position by scoring 92 per cent marks in MBA,second semester,conducted by the Punjab Technical University. Director of the institute,Dr R K Lekhi,congratulated her on the feat.
Knitwear Club meet held
The first executive committee meeting of Knitwear Club,Ludhiana,was held at hotel A,Ferozepur Road,on Monday. MSME director S S Dhillon was the guest of honour on the occasion,and he was accompanied by other special invitees like Vishavbandhu,GM,District Industry Centre (DIC) and a few others. Dhillon highlighted the key points about many government schemes that are being introduced under Cluster Development Program. Vishavbandhu emphasised upon taking maximum benefit of these schemes for the growth of knitwear and textile industry. The meeting was presided by president of Club,Vinod K Thapar,and Narinder Miglani,Rajinder Bhushan Maini,Jagmohan Singh,Charanjiv Singh and Rohit Rampal were also present.
