Rajiv birthday celebrated
LUDHIANA: The District Congress Committee Ludhiana (Urban) on Saturday celebrated the sixty-seventh birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi as Sadhbhavna Divas. A function organised at the district Congress Bhawan was presided over by DCC president Pawan Dewan. Dewan accompanied by several other party leaders paid floral tributes to the late leader.
CA convention from today
LUDHIANA: The Ludhiana Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India(ICAI) will host the first ever National CA Students Convention in Punjab on August 21 and 22nd August. This convention will provide a platform for students to submit presentations on various topics.
Left hand competition held
LUDHIANA: Students from Ryan International School,Dugri participated in a left handers calligraphy competition on August 20. The motive behind the event was to exhibit the degree of ambidexterity among them. The students were encouraged to use their left hands for various activities to ensure they face no trouble if they have to.
