Three held for factory robbery

Noida: Three persons were today arrested in connection with a recent robbery at an aggarbati factory in Sector VI here,police said.

“Former guard Mohan had planned the robbery. He was removed from service without giving his salary. To recover the salary,he had planned robbery with his two friends. The friends were arrested this afternoon,” SP (City) Anant Dev told mediamen at a press conference.

The duo were identified as Lalan and Surinder,he said,adding that Manoj whom they had sold the stolen laptop was also arrested.

Five constables suspended

Ghaziabad: Five police constables were suspended for allegedly extorting money from local vehicle owners,here today. Constables DP Singh,Yashpal,Satyabir,Nizamuddin and Dinesh have been suspended from duty,SSP Raghubir
